Upper Valley Art League’s local member artists will showcase diverse works of watercolor at the Upper Valley Art League (UVAL) Gallery in Mission February 7 through 28. Opening reception for the event is Saturday, February 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at 921 E. 12th Street in Mission (next to Speer Memorial Library).

Among the hundreds of Winter Texans attending the 19th annual Ron Hoover RV and Marine Center Open House January 15 and 16 in Donna were a number of armed forces veterans who spend their winters in the Valley.

The majority of visitors to the Clayton Homes of Donna 34th annual open house on January 24 had a pleasant time with free corn dogs, soft drinks and lots of door prizes before the mid-afternoon cold front breezed in.

The Rio Grande Valley Red Hat Queens Council presents the Festival of Tables on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. All ladies are welcome. Red Hats and purple on the shoulders are appreciated.
