America’s preeminent progressive rock band, Kansas, will be wrapping-up their popular Point of Know Return Anniversary Tour in the United States with one final leg during the winter and spring of 2022. Legendary rock band, Kansas, will stop in McAllen February 19, 2022 at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. The tour showcases classic Kansas music including hit songs, deep cuts, fan favorites, and will include selections from the band’s latest studio album The Absence of Presence.
The Harlingen Concert Association is preparing for the 2021-2022 season with a list of great performances and concerts. Their first concert of the season will be ReVoiced on November 16.
Quinta Mazatlán World Birding Center is honored to host Dr. Servando Z. Hinojosa, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, on Thursday October 28th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a Dia de Los Muertos inspired presentation on “The Life of Bones in Mexico” on the Thursday Night Live series at Quinta Mazatlán.
Save the date for Saturday, Oct. 30, as the Museum of South Texas History (MOSTH) presents Día de los Muertos: Recuerdos y Ofrendas, an event that showcases regional music, dance, educational activities and heritage.
The Pharr Community Theater, Co. will offer classes in acting and/or in screenwriting for children, teens and adults. Each workshop will consist of eight one-hour classes starting November 1 through November 26. The cost is only $60 per student, class size limited to the first 10 to register per class.

SAN BENITO – Live music, cold drinks, delicious food and plenty of family fun are scheduled this weekend on the Resaca as South Texas Music Festival returns to the City of San Benito on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Heavin Memorial Park, 705 N. Bowie.
